REVEAL THE REAL
This current program is offered to those who identify as a Black woman in college or professional sports and is supported by the Lousiville Institute.
As Black women in sports—whether coach, staff, professional, or student-athlete—you face unique challenges. From balancing career pressures to confronting racism, it can feel overwhelming. But you don’t have to do it alone!
Solidarity Circles provide a space to connect with Black women who understand your journey. Together, you'll share experiences, build resilience, and gain the support needed to thrive. Inclusive of all spiritual beliefs and sexual identities, this sisterhood is about rising together, affirming your authencitiy, celebrating successes, and demanding respect.
Registration is required and our online circles will run from September 30 - December 17, 2024.

This circle is dedicated to Black women coaches and support staff, offering a space to explore the unique challenges they face in their professional roles. Participants will discuss balancing athletic responsibilities, managing work-life dynamics, and addressing personal well-being, with a focus on how to integrate spiritual care into their daily lives. By sharing experiences and insights, this circle aims to empower Black women in sports to maintain their professional and personal resilience, advocate for systemic change, and harmonize their spiritual and professional journeys.

This circle is dedicated to Black women college athletes, offering a supportive space to explore the complex challenges of balancing athletics, academics, spirituality, and future career aspirations. Participants will engage in conversations about navigating the unique pressures of being a student-athlete, including maintaining academic excellence, managing the physical demands of sports, and nurturing spiritual well-being. Additionally, the circle will address how Black women athletes confront and handle racism, both on and off the field, equipping them with strategies to stand resilient against bias and discrimination. By reflecting on their journeys, sharing strategies for success, and building a network of solidarity, participants will be empowered to embrace their authentic selves and confidently navigate the path ahead, celebrating their resilience and aspirations.

Additionally, the circle will address how Black women athletes confront and handle racism in their careers, equipping them with strategies to stand resilient against bias and discrimination. By reflecting on their professional journeys, sharing success strategies, and building a network of solidarity, participants will be empowered to embrace their authentic selves and confidently navigate their careers, celebrating their resilience and achievements.
