The Black Sports Ministry Network, Inc.
Cultivating and nurturing ethical leaders in sports at the intersection of spirituality and social justice.
Creating a place to land, listen, learn, and love on and off the field.

Why We Exist
There are many challenges that Black athletes, coaches, and support staff face beyond the playing field or court. Spiritual well-being is a cornerstone of overall health and success, contributing to mental resilience, emotional stability, and a sense of purpose. The Black Sports Ministry Network recognizes how important it is to create spaces whether athletes, coaches, and staff can embrace their spirituality, explore holistic well-being, and engage across difference through education and dialogue with out fear, guilt, or shame.
We also know other sports ministries are limited in scope of practice, scholarship, and services particularly when thinking about culturally relevant and holistic spiritual care for Black athletes, coaches, and support staff.
